Leading solar inverter and battery energy storage company is looking for a Solution Sales Engineer who will act as a key player in building the local business – both in technical- and sales consulting, with a strong focus on battery energy storage and utility-scale solar solutions

Your Tasks

  • Represent the company and its technical solutions to key clients in Hungary
  • Understand the customers’ needs and propose technical solutions.
  • Offer tailored solar and energy storage solutions (including sizing, design, and integration)
  • Utilize deep technical knowledge in solar and battery energy storage systems.
  • Collaborate with the local Country Manager and other team members to provide technical solutions
  • Work closely with internal technical and R&D team for product support.
  • Participate in face-to-face client meetings, technical consultations, and negotiations.
  • Manage sales-related processes and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Travel to Germany and occasionally to China for internal meeting and product training. 

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the solar energy industry (e.g. inverters, storage systems, PV solutions).
  • Strong technical expertise in solar energy systems and battery storage solutions.
  • Proven ability to manage complex B2B sales processes and consultative selling.
  • Hungarian language, advanced level of English language
  • Understanding of local energy regulations, grid requirements, and sizing/integration of PV and BESS systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
