Our partner is a leading supplier of industrial and environmental machinery. We are looking for an expirienced MDM Accountant to join our clients innovate team!

Your Tasks

  • Oversee the general ledger master data maintenance processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals in line with the US GAAP accounting standards
  • Ensure data consistency and compliance with FLS internal controls and standards
  • Develop and enforce data governance policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Respond to and resolve complex inquiries regarding master data from internal stakeholders
  • Review and approve complex data change requests to ensure compliance and data integrity
  • Analyze system performance and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal audits, external audits, and compliance inquiries related to master data
  • Train and mentor associates on data maintenance best practices
  • Lead and participate in assigned projects
  • Be a key team member driving continuous improvement

Your Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ relevant experience is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in economics required (preferably in accounting)
  • Expert knowledge of general ledger processes, accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS), and compliance requirements
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP FI/CO, Oracle Financials) and data analytics tools
  • Confident user of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in data entry and management
  • Experience in project management
  • Good analytical, research and problem-solving skills with the ability to establish complex connections between general ledger and master data
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with stakeholders
  • Good interpersonal skill set with the ability to present information to various stakeholders
  • Strong bias for action and ability to proactively recognize and resolve issues through root cause analysis
  • Ability to cope with and drive process changes
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to stay professional in challenging situations
  • Strong sense of responsibility
  • Ability to provide guidance in prioritization to team members
