We are looking for a new Quality Manager colleague for our manufacturing client in Székesfehérvár! Do you have 3-5 years of managerial experience? Are you familiar with the automotive industry? Do you have a good command of English? If your answers are yes, apply now!

Your Tasks

  • Supervising the operation of the company's quality management system certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949:2016 standard and CCAP standards, analyzing its effectiveness and continuously improving it with the involvement of partner departments
  • Knowledge of customer requirements, integration into the system, communication within the company
  • Handling and supervising customer and supplier complaints
  • Keeping contact with partners, preparing and conducting customer, certifying/inspection audits
  • Defining and coordinating quality management and quality control tasks
  • Operation of an internal audit system and measurement device monitoring system, conducting process and system audits based on a defined audit plan, coordinating 5S audits
  • Analysis of production scrap, identification of causes of reject, supervision of the taking and implementation of necessary actions
  • Initiating quality improvements in production processes
  • Participation in the identification and coordination of corrective and preventive activities
  • Is responsible for supervising the documentation system of quality management, preparing work instructions and procedure instructions concerning the system, and monitoring its changes
  • Monthly evaluation of quality indicators, definition and introduction of necessary actions
  • Making proposals for the improvement of the quality management system, drawing up a development plan, monitoring the implementation of measures
  • Keeping training plans, competences, measuring instruments, measurement and control processes, incoming goods under control
  • Coordination of sorting work (Q-wall) regarding product quality (e.g. customer or supplier complaints, internal locks)
  • Immediate feedback of defects and nonconformities to production, stopping the production process if necessary, documenting non-conformities
  • Holding periodic trainings, preparing training material on product compliance and customer requirements
  • Evaluation of products (scrap, items to be decided), decision-making in case of quality non-conformity
  • Professional support for the introduction of a new product, active participation in manufacturability analysis
  • Performing other tasks assigned by the immediate superior, which are related to the job, can be provided with existing qualifications and are in line with the interests of the company
  • NPI management:
    • Participation in process developments for new projects, project launch management
    • Supporting the introduction of new products, conducting and organizing first sample measurements
    • Master Data management when introducing a new product

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervising compliance with customer and standard requirements and internal regulations in the quality management system, identifying nonconformities, feedback on them to partner departments and direct superiors.
  • Strives to effectively achieve the company's objectives (e.g. scrap reduction, 8D accident-free, etc.).
  • In case of non-conformity due to quality that harms the interests of the customer and/or the organization, you can stop production and delivery at your own discretion. You must inform the Plant Manager as soon as possible.

Your Qualifications

  • Higher professional education
  • 3-5 years of experience in the automotive industry
  • Knowledge of quality techniques (APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA, 8D, 5WHY, Ishikawa)
  • IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO14001 knowledge
  • Negotiable English language skills
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and presentation skills

Nice-to-have:

  • SAP knowledge
  • VDA 6.3/ VDA 6.5 / CQI audit experience
  • Customer complaint experience (OEM/Tier 1)
