Our international manufacturing partner is looking for an experienced UK Payroll Specialist who will be responsible for supporting end-to-end UK payroll operations while ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance with local regulations, and the smooth delivery of payroll services.

Your Tasks

  • Maintain accurate payroll records and process payroll-related transactions
  • Review, verify, and reconcile payroll data before each payroll cycle
  • Handle salary adjustments, deductions, tax-related entries, and timekeeping information
  • Prepare recurring payroll reports and support internal reporting requests
  • Ensure compliance with applicable payroll regulations and company standards
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Investigate discrepancies and contribute to issue resolution activities
  • Support payroll audits and documentation requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve payroll workflows and operational efficiency

Your Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, HR, or a related field
  • Previous experience in payroll administration or payroll operations
  • Understanding of payroll processes, taxation principles, and employment related regulations
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Advanced spreadsheet and reporting skills
  • Ability to handle confidential employee information responsibly
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience working with payroll and workforce management systems
