Our partner is a leading international organization operating in a complex, large-scale enterprise environment, delivering mission‑critical technology platforms to customers across multiple regions. To support ongoing transformation and modernization initiatives, we are seeking a senior architecture leader to take ownership of business and service systems architecture at scale.
This role plays a key part in defining long‑term architectural direction, driving modernization of legacy landscapes, and enabling efficient, data‑driven, and highly resilient operations across the organization.
Your Tasks
- Own the architecture of business and service systems
- Define and drive end-to-end architecture for enterprise business systems (sales, service, core platforms)
- Lead architecture across service operations domains, such as:
- Service Desk and Service Operations
- Lead-to-Cash (pricing, quoting, billing)
- Inventory and resource management
- Design target-state architectures while optimizing and modernizing legacy systems
- Drive modernization and automation
- Champion API-first and event-driven architecture patterns
- Support automation and AI-enabled solutions to reduce manual work and improve efficiency
- Improve scalability, availability, and operational resilience of critical systems
- Balance transformation with business continuity
- Provide architectural leadership and governance
- Define architectural principles, standards, and design patterns
- Lead design reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards
- Make and defend architectural decisions in complex, high-impact environments
- Guide legacy-to-modern transformation initiatives
- Collaborate across the organization
- Work closely with engineering teams, operations, and business stakeholders
- Translate technical architecture into clear business value
- Partner with vendors and platform providers on architectural decisions
- Lead and mentor
- Act as a senior technical leader and mentor for architects and engineers
- Foster strong architectural thinking across teams
- Stay hands-on in critical technical discussions when needed
Your Qualifications
- Experience
- Extensive experience in enterprise or large-scale system architecture
- Background in complex, multi-system environments
- Experience in telecommunications, BSS/OSS, or similarly large-scale domains is a strong plus
- Technical expertise
- Strong system-level and architectural thinking
- Deep experience with system integration (APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures)
- Solid understanding of data-driven architectures
- Sufficient technical depth to be highly credible with engineering teams
- Leadership and mindset
- Proven technical leadership and decision-making capability
- Ability to define strategic direction and drive execution
- Strong ownership mentality and accountability
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders in complex environments

- Strategic thinker with a pragmatic, execution-oriented approach
- Curious and open to modern technologies (e.g. AI, automation)
