Sales Order Management Specialist - French or German speaking

Our partner is a leading independent technology provider, trusted by large corporate and public sector organizations to source, transform, and manage IT infrastructure, facilitating digital transformation worldwide. They are currently seeking a Sales Order Management Specialist, to join their Budapest team!

Your Tasks

  • Ensure high customer satisfaction by effectively and efficiently processing orders to meet Customer SLA requirements
  • Examine customer orders to verify the validity of product specifications (including configuration), quantities ordered, and any special pricing agreements or requirements
  • Liaise with Customer Executives or Specialist Services teams if order details do not meet expectations
  • Ensure efficient, prompt, and accurate order entry in accordance with Customer-specific SLAs and requirements
  • Process sales orders in line with process specifications and requirements
  • Check purchase orders to ensure all details are correct, align with Sales orders, and the appropriate source of supply has been selected (based on rebates, pricing, availability, inventory, contracts, customer requirements, etc.)
  • Liaise with the Purchasing team for information on non-standard and non-compliant orders (if not already available in existing tools)
  • Communicate with Customer Executives or other stakeholders if orders are blocked in the system due to margins, customer credit limit breaches, export control, etc.
  • Select the appropriate delivery service, configuration, and other value-added services as required by the customer
  • Liaise with internal service providers to obtain information related to sales order processing
  • Process returns in accordance with SLA
  • Ensure credits are processed in the system promptly
  • Resolve order and invoice queries
  • Maintain systems awareness training to stay up to date with any changes

Your Qualifications

  • Fluent English and French/German
  • At least 3 years of experience in Sales Operations and/or a Customer Service environment
  • Experience handling customer orders
  • Basic knowledge of SAP, MS Office, and E-business tools
  • You are customer and sales-oriented
  • Developing strong communication skills
